Never trust an Ola or an Uber - Not when you want to catch a flight

🚕 6 o'clock flight. 5 o'clock boarding. 45 mins to reach airport. But I keep a buffer of another 15. Book an Ola at 3:45.

Expected: Ola comes at door at 4 o'clock. I reach airport at Max by 5. And everything else goes as per plan.

But sometimes you get a driver like your father. There is a reason you avoid travelling with your father when he is in driver's seat. And that reason is, he would make all choices on the basis of which is the slowest of them all. And that's how this driver would approach the road too.

  • Follow a heavy truck lane, because what could be slower than this?
  • Cap speed at 60 even on a blank highway
  • At least take three attempts before making a successful round about
  • And the classic - stop to fill up the tank. Because half tank is for losers
Long story short, keep a buffer of half an hour at least when booking a cab if you really want to not miss that flight. Because sometimes you get a fatherly figure where you don't want it the most.

Difference between .exec() and .execPopulate() in Mongoose?

Here I answer what is the difference between .exec() and .execPopulate() in Mongoose? .exec() is used with a query while .execPopulate() is used with a document Syntax for .exec() is as follows: Model.query() . populate ( 'field' ) . exec () // returns promise . then ( function ( document ) { console . log ( document ); }); Syntax for .execPopulate() is as follows: fetchedDocument . populate ( 'field' ) . execPopulate () // returns promise . then ( function ( document ) { console . log ( document ); }); When working with individual document use .execPopulate(), for model query use .exec(). Both returns a promise. One can do without .exec() or .execPopulate() but then has to pass a callback in populate.

Resolve: Uncaught TypeError: firebase.database is not a function

If you are getting the error: Uncaught TypeError: firebase.database is not a function Resolve it by including firebase-database.js in your html page as follows: <!-- The core Firebase JS SDK is always required and must be listed first --> <script defer src = "https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/6.2.4/firebase-app.js" ></script> <script defer src = "https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/3.1.0/firebase-database.js" ></script> That is it. Let me know if this was helpful.
